About The Art of Tailoring
Every garment begins as a hand-drawn sketch before our master tailors select the fabric and begin the cutting process. We do not use ready-made patterns. Instead, we create a custom shell fitting for your specific build, ensuring the final jacket or kurta hangs perfectly on your shoulders. This focus on individual construction is why our clothes retain their shape for years.
Our process is rooted in techniques passed down through 18 generations. When you visit our Mumbai studios, we do not just take measurements. We analyze your posture, shoulder slope, and movement to ensure the fit is natural, not restrictive.
For our classic Pathani suits, we use high-quality fused interlining in the collars and cuffs. This is not about rigidity. It is about ensuring your collar stays crisp through a long day of weddings or festivals. For our sherwanis and Indo-Western sets, we employ heavy canvas construction. This traditional method provides a regal, upright posture that mass-produced garments cannot replicate.
We serve clients across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, from our established outlets in Bhendi Bazaar to our studio in Oshiwara. Whether you need a simple cotton kurta for daily wear or an elaborate hand-embroidered sherwani for a wedding, our approach remains the same: treat the fabric with respect and the customer with honesty.
If you are preparing for a festival like Eid or a family wedding, we recommend scheduling your first consultation at least two weeks in advance. This allows time for the initial measurement, the shell fitting, and final adjustments. We believe that true luxury is patience, and we invest that time into every stitch to ensure the final product is not just an outfit, but a legacy piece.
