Dance is my way of telling stories, not just with my body, but with my hands and my eyes. I focus on bringing the soul of the music to life, turning every beat into a conversation that the audience feels.

A performance focusing only on expressions, or 'bhaav'. Dance is about telling a story, and the face is the most powerful tool for it.

'Woh nazar' - a performance about the power of a single glance. This piece uses subtle expressions and hand movements to convey a world of meaning.

'Kuch baatein aankhon se karte hain' (Some conversations happen with the eyes). This piece is all about unspoken feelings, told through expressive eye movements and 'jasbaat'.

Performing pure emotion to the song 'Saiyaara'. This sitting choreography was challenging but incredibly fulfilling, letting the voice of Shilpa Rao guide my every expression.

A performance for Guru Purnima, expressing gratitude to my teachers through dance. This piece is a 'pranaam' using classical hand gestures and expressions.

A short, expressive piece to the song 'Do Naina Aur Ek Kahani'. This is a perfect example of how old Bollywood songs provide a beautiful canvas for storytelling through dance.

A 'handmade choreo' focusing on 'haathon ke bhaav' (expressions of the hands). This sitting piece tells a story using only hand gestures and mudras.

Another 'handmade choreo' where my hands do all the talking. The intricate movements, combined with traditional jewelry, create a beautiful visual story.

A hand choreography piece set against a wall of green plants. The contrast of the silver jewelry and the natural background makes the hand movements pop.

A hand choreography inspired by the beautiful silver oak trees in Sakleshpur. I used my hands to paint a picture of nature set to the song 'Awaara Bhavre'.

About Expressive Storytelling: Abhinaya & Bhaav

You will notice many of my performances here use 'sitting choreography.' I created this style because sometimes a venue is too small for big footwork, or the song demands intimacy over energy. It allows us to focus entirely on the bhaav (expression)—using delicate hand gestures and eye contact to reach the audience's heart directly.
