Most engagements I do at home involve a circular floral or balloon arch, but the real key is the seating arrangement. I usually bring wingback chairs or a sofa to make sure the couple stands out in photos, regardless of the room size.
When you are planning a Roka or engagement at home, the main challenge is making a living room or terrace look like a dedicated event space. I handle this by bringing everything you need, from the 6ft to 8ft metal circular frame to the flooring and focus lights.
How I Setup Your Space
My engagement setups are designed to be compact but impactful.
- Backdrops: You can choose between a dense floral arch with artificial roses and hydrangeas or a metallic chrome balloon arch. If you want specific signage, I include custom acrylic hang-tags that say 'Roka' or 'Ring Ceremony'.
- Seating: A good backdrop needs a focal point. I provide a 2-seater sofa or two high-back 'Maharaja' wingback chairs. This ensures you have a clean, clear spot for photos.
- Lighting: I bring LED PAR lights or Can lights to illuminate the backdrop properly, plus fairy lights for the ambient glow.
Practical Details
I work across Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad. My setup takes about 2 to 3 hours, and I handle the entire process so you do not have to worry about the logistics.
