About Detailed Portraits: A Study in Texture
These images are captured at 500mm to isolate the subject without intrusion. By shooting in natural light, I retain the true texture of plumage, from the barbules on a crest to the sheen on a beak, all processed from 45MP RAW files.
Authentic Detail
Texture is the core of this collection. When you view these portraits, you are seeing exactly what the camera recorded, with no heavy editing to alter color or detail. My workflow relies on a Canon R5 and the RF 100-500mm lens. This combination provides the reach needed to capture wildlife in Delhi's urban patches while maintaining a safe distance. I do not use bait or flash. The result is authentic bird behavior and sharp, honest detail.
Usage and Printing
These portraits are available as digital licenses for editorial use or as museum-grade Giclée prints. I use 12-pigment archival inks on heavy cotton rag paper for all prints, ensuring color stability for decades. Whether you are looking for a singular A3 print for a home office or a large format 24x36 inch framed piece for a corporate space, the files are processed to handle high-resolution output.
