About Bird & Wildlife Photography
I spend my mornings and evenings out with my camera, trying to do justice to the birds that live around us in Delhi. My thing is capturing them as they are - not staged, not edited to look unreal, just real birds, doing their thing.
How I Work
- I care a lot about sharp details, from tiny feather patterns to the unique colors you only get with natural light.
- You'll find everything in my portfolio - tight, close-up high-resolution bird portraits, and also wider shots that show birds in their own world.
- I don’t disturb the birds. I keep my distance and let them behave naturally - whether it’s feeding, singing, or just sitting around.
- I'm a bit of a gear nerd, so I use a Canon R5 with a 100-500mm lens. That lets me get close without getting in their way.
What You’ll See
- Lots of Indian bird species photos: kingfishers, barbets, warblers, flycatchers, kites, parakeets, magpies, woodpeckers, and a bunch more.
- I’m pretty strict about keeping things ethical - no baiting, no flash, just straight-up natural light wildlife images.
- My images are used in homes, offices, magazines, and by folks who need candid bird behavior photography for their projects.

My Story
Hey, I’m Vikas. I shoot birds, but not in some fancy forest – just right here in Delhi, gali ke kone pe (at the street corner). It’s all about waiting and watching, finding beauty in the everyday. I want my photos to show every feather, every tiny detail. No drama, just real city birds. If you like honest pictures, that’s what I do.
