Naming Ceremony & Seemantham Decoration

Organizing a naming ceremony or a seemantham in Bangalore requires a setup that balances traditional elements with a clean, photogenic look. My designs for these events center around the cradle, which acts as the focal point for the ceremony.

The Design Process

For naming ceremonies, I typically work with a 6ft circular ring frame or a crescent moon structure. I cover these with artificial flowers—usually 50% to 70% density—to ensure they look lush and full without overpowering the space. For seemantham events, I adapt these designs to incorporate more traditional drapes and color schemes, often using white and gold satin backdrops to maintain a classic aesthetic.

Included Elements

Every package covers the basics you need to get the stage ready:

• Backdrop: I handle the masking using premium satin or polyester curtains.
• Lighting: Two LED PAR can lights are included to brighten the stage area, which makes a big difference in indoor venues.
• Signage: I include a 2x1.5 ft sunboard print with the baby's name, which adds a personalized touch to the decor.
• Cradle Styling: The cradle itself is draped in tulle fabric with hanging floral strings and crystals.
