Greenery can make or break a set. Whether you are filming a moody scene or a vibrant sequence, I use a strategic mix of real and high-quality faux plants to ensure everything looks lush and camera-ready, no matter how long the shoot lasts.

This dramatic, rain-soaked entrance scene from 'Call Me Bae' features the lush tropical plants I used to create a high-end, moody atmosphere. The right greenery can completely define a scene.

An overhead shot from the 'Call Me Bae' set, showing how the plant arrangements frame the space and add depth to the scene. Every plant is placed to enhance the camera angle.

Seeing my name in the credits as the plant and landscaping vendor for a Dharma Productions project was an incredible feeling. I am so proud of the work we delivered.

Even simple interior shots are elevated with the right plants. Here, a tall palm in a modern black planter adds a touch of elegance and life to the background of a scene.

A behind-the-scenes look at my team setting up for the 'Call Me Bae' shoot. It shows the scale of the project and the hands-on work that goes into creating these large-scale green installations.

Here's a closer look at my team arranging a large faux grass and cattail installation. These artificial arrangements are perfect for indoor sets where lighting and maintenance are a concern.

My team carefully positions a cluster of tropical plants, including a large fishtail palm and a bird of paradise, to create a dense, layered look for an interior corner on set.

This shot shows how I use tall plants to complement the grand architecture of a set. The greenery draws the eye upwards and works with the natural light from the large windows.

A wide view of the grand porch we styled for the show. I used a variety of plants in different sizes and classic white pots to create a welcoming and luxurious feel.

Another angle of the porch setup, showing how the cluster of plants creates a beautiful, natural-looking entrance. I mixed different textures and leaf shapes for visual interest.

About Set Greening for Shoots & Productions

The biggest challenge on set is keeping plants looking fresh under hot studio lights for 12 hours straight. My approach combines 'real touch' artificial foliage with strategic live plant placement, so your background frames remain lush from the first take to the last wrap. We handle everything from the initial site survey to moving heavy pots mid-shoot.
