Handmade Organic Henna Artistry in Bangalore
From intricate bridal patterns to simple, daily florals, I use my own handmade organic cones for that deep, lasting stain you love.
This video shows the satisfying process of applying a detailed floral design. Notice the consistency of the paste, which allows for smooth, unbroken lines from wrist to elbow.
A macro view of the application process. My cones have a fine tip for precision work, perfect for creating the delicate chains and jewelry-like patterns seen here.
This design features a beautiful floral chain, or 'bel', that gracefully adorns the hand. The greenish-brown color is the natural shade of my fresh henna paste before it dries and stains the skin.
This image shows two different styles side-by-side. One hand has a dense, traditional pattern while the other features a more modern, spaced-out floral vine, showing the versatility of my henna.
A great example of custom designs. Each hand features a different pattern, combining mandalas, florals, and leafy vines, all drawn with a steady hand and my smooth henna paste.
This set showcases a large floral mandala on one palm and a criss-cross 'jaali' pattern on the other. The dark tips are created by applying a thick layer of paste.
The paste can sometimes have a yellowish-green tint when freshly applied, which is completely normal for natural henna. This beautiful floral design was done for Eid celebrations.
This is an example of heavy, full-coverage henna work, often requested for brides. The dark paste is applied thickly to ensure the darkest possible stain.
This clip shows the design immediately after the paste is removed and then the initial orange stain. This stain will darken significantly over the next two days.
A detailed look at a freshly applied rose pattern. You can see the texture of the paste and the fine details in the petals and leaves, which will result in a beautiful final stain.
About Freshly Applied: The Henna Process & Artistry
The secret to that rich, dark stain isn't a chemical trick; it’s all in the fresh henna paste. When I apply, I use my own handmade cones because the consistency has to be perfect—no grainy textures or clogs—just smooth, flowy lines that allow for the intricate bridal or floral details you see in my gallery.
Why do I insist on making my own paste? Most store-bought cones are filled with chemicals that can react badly with sensitive skin. My recipe uses only natural henna powder, sugar, and essential oils like eucalyptus or clove. This is why my clients always ask, 'Itna dark stain ka raaz kya hai?' (What's the secret to such a dark stain?).
My artistic style is a mix of everything I love. I do precise, fine-line Arabic florals for people who want something minimal, and dense, traditional jaali (lattice) work for brides who want that full-coverage look. Because I make the henna in small batches here in Bangalore, the dye release is always strong and consistent.
Whether you are planning for a wedding, Eid, or just have that 'desi girl' urge to put mehendi on a random Tuesday, I’m here for it. I also offer home services for applications, or if you prefer to create your own art, you can grab my organic henna cones or DIY kits directly. Just send me a message with what you need, and we can figure out the best design for your hands.
