Authentic Dawoodi Bohra Saya Kurta & Pehran Tailoring
I combine traditional Fatemi embroidery techniques with modern remote-fitting guidance to craft your perfect Saya Kurta or Pehran, wherever you are.
This video shows the complete journey of a saya kurta, from the initial fabric cutting to the final stitches. You can see the care that goes into the hand embroidery, the precise machine work for the kali, and the final ironing and finishing touches that make each piece special.
For clients who cannot visit my store, getting the right size is the most important thing. In this video, I explain how to take four simple body measurements to find your perfect ready-made size from my collection, ensuring a great fit even from afar.
This is a special hand-embroidered saya kurta I created for a groom's wedding attire. The intricate work on the collar, paan, and cuffs is done by my expert karigars to make the occasion truly memorable.
It was a pleasure to finally meet this customer in person. He trusted me to stitch his wedding saya kurta entirely online after watching my measurement video, and I was so happy to see how perfectly it fit him on his special day.
To help my clients, I have created this guide for Farmaan-approved designs. It shows the correct brown shades, the appropriate shapes for the paan, and clarifies that embroidery should only be on the collar and paan, not other places.
The finishing of a pehran makes all the difference. Here, I explain the two styles I offer: the regular, wider kali and the more traditional 'Bareek Kali' with jaali, which gives a very premium and fine look.
This is a 'bhari' or heavy kurta I designed for a dulha (groom). It is made from pure cotton fabric and features full zardosi work with a light and dark green thread, giving it a rich look for a wedding.
Sometimes, simplicity is the most elegant. This is a classic white saya kurta set, finished with a clean, sharp piping detail in green. I have over 40 different piping colors to choose from.
From my workshop in Mumbai to your doorstep, anywhere in India. I take great care in packing each order to ensure it reaches you safely and in perfect condition.
About Featured
When you order from me, I do not just take measurements; I personally walk you through my video guide so we can achieve 99% accuracy remotely. Whether you need a simple daily-wear cotton Pehran or a formal Zardosi-work Saya for Ziyafat, I follow the Farmaan-approved color palette and ensure every kali is stitched with the precision and 'ekdam fine' finishing that our tradition demands.
Our Approach to Traditional Attire
Tailoring is a responsibility, not just a service. Every Saya Kurta, Pehran, and Izaar I stitch is treated with the same care as if I were making it for my own family. My workshop in Bhendi Bazaar, Mumbai, serves clients globally—from India to the USA and Dubai—using a streamlined process that bridges the distance.
Craftsmanship & Materials
- Fabrics: I work primarily with high-grade cottons and premium fabrics like Ruby Vanilla, Ruby Audi, and Horizon. These materials ensure breathability for daily wear and hold structure well for formal ensembles.
- Embroidery: I specialize in authentic handwork, including Makkhi (Single, Double, or Triple), intricate Dori work, and heavy Zardosi for groom wedding attire.
- Construction: Depending on your preference, I offer both 'Regular Kali' for a standard fit and the traditional 'Bareek Kali with jaali' for a more premium, structured look. I also use 'Fusing Saya' lining for a wrinkle-free, coat-like drape on formal pieces.
Ordering Online
I have perfected a remote measurement system. You do not need to visit me in Mumbai to get a perfect fit. By following my simple video guide with a well-fitting garment you already own, we can accurately capture your shoulder, chest, and length measurements. This method has allowed me to successfully outfit clients across the globe.
Community Standards
My work strictly adheres to community-approved Farmaan guidelines. Whether it is selecting the right brown shade for embroidery or ensuring the Paan (placket) shape is correct, I keep your attire appropriate for all occasions—be it Milad, Urs, or weddings.
