About Saree Draping & Styling
A saree is only as good as its drape. In my workshops, we go beyond basic pleating. We look at how to hide safety pins invisibly, how to iron borders so they sit flat, and how to create a fanned-out pallu that stays secure without needing constant adjustment. It is about technique, not just fabric.
Many of my students come to me saying their saree drape feels heavy or keeps slipping during events. That usually happens because the foundations are wrong. In our sessions at the Saligramam studio, we cover the real stuff that makes a difference:
- Regional Draping Styles: From traditional Kanjeevaram styling to contemporary party looks.
- Pre-pleating Hacks: Learn the art of prepping your saree before you wear it, saving you valuable time on the big day.

Thappu pannalum paravalla (even if you make mistakes, it is okay), we will fix it together until you get that clean, sharp look you see in my gallery.
