About Club Nights: The Energy
It is not just about hitting play. I am behind the decks mixing tracks live, reading the room, and jumping between genres like Amapiano, Disco, and heavy Desi fusions. If I see the floor dipping, I will drop a high-BPM mashup to flip the switch immediately and get everyone back on their feet.
When I am behind the decks, my goal is to shift the energy of the room. I run an open-format style, which means I am constantly moving between decades and continents. I usually start with low BPM grooves like Amapiano or Disco to get the mood flowing, then build it up with Hip Hop, House, and my own custom remixes. I have dropped sets at clubs like Opa Bar and played for large crowds at festivals like Zomaland, where the audience ranges from casual listeners to hardcore dancers.
I do not just show up and play. I do pre-event calls to understand your specific vibe and your Do Not Play list, so we are on the same page before the first track drops. For corporate parties or weddings, I can sync with your VJ or lighting team to make sure the music and visuals hit at the same time.
Keep in mind, my gear requirements are simple but specific. I provide the talent and the expertise, and I ask that you provide industry-standard Pioneer DJ gear (CDJs and a DJM mixer) and a solid sound system at the venue.
