About Natural Look Grass (25mm - 65mm)
Choosing the right pile height depends on how you use your space. For balconies, play areas, or places with heavy footfall, 25mm to 35mm options are better because they are easier to sweep and maintain. Reserve the 50mm to 65mm turf for lounge areas or decorative garden patches where you want a soft, plush feel underfoot.
Understanding Pile Height and Usage
- 25mm to 30mm: This is my practical range. It creates a trimmed, clean look ideal for high-traffic balconies, patios, or wall cladding. It is simple to clean and resists flattening.
- 35mm to 40mm: This is the mid-range choice. It balances a dense, full look with enough durability for home lawns or terraces. It is soft enough to sit on but sturdy enough for regular use.
- 50mm to 65mm: The luxury option. These provide a deep, sink-in feel that mimics a well-maintained natural lawn. These are heavier and are best for low-traffic garden spaces where comfort is the priority.
