I strip away color to let light, shadow, and texture speak. These monochrome pieces are where I focus purely on the raw emotion and hyper-realistic detail of a face.

My tribute portrait of Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, presented in a digital sketchbook format. This black and white drawing was created to honor his powerful legacy.

A black and white portrait of Scarlett Johansson as Lucy. I used dramatic, high-contrast lighting to capture the intensity and raw emotion of her character in the film, focusing on the details in her expressive eyes.

This is a memorial portrait of Sushant Singh Rajput, framed to show how it would look as a physical piece of art. It was created as a tribute by special request, capturing a quiet moment.

I spent about 30 hours on this hyper-realistic black and white artwork. I was really curious about capturing the weathered skin texture, the smoke, and the tiny details like the snow on the beanie to create a powerful, realistic portrait.

An old-style sketch of a woman in a traditional setting. This piece was done to look like a classic pencil drawing, focusing on soft shading and delicate details to create a timeless feel.

A full black and white portrait of Sushant Singh Rajput. This was a special request piece, and I tried to create a respectful and realistic tribute to the late actor.

Another version of my portrait of Lucy, with a single touch of red color on her lip. This selective color technique in a black and white image helps to draw the viewer's eye and add a focal point to the story.

A work-in-progress shot of my Yennefer portrait. Even before the final details are added, the black and white rendering helps establish the mood and lighting of the piece.

About Black & White Masterpieces

Unlike standard digital illustrations, these pieces are built through 30 to 60 hours of manual brushwork. When you look closely, you will see the individual skin pores and texture I draw by hand in Photoshop, not auto-generated effects. This patience is what creates that depth, whether it is for a personal tribute or a character study.
