I don't believe in just styling hair and leaving. A big part of my bridal work is setting your dupatta correctly, whether it's a heavy head-veil or double-draping for a traditional ceremony. I use hidden stuffing and strategic pinning to build a solid foundation so your hair stays secure and voluminous, even with the weight of the fabric, ensuring you look perfect from the first photo until the end of your event.
When I work on a bridal look, my focus is on durability and finish. I start by analyzing your outfit weight and hair texture to decide the best base, usually involving extensive root crimping for volume that lasts through a long day. For updos, I use hidden padding or stuffing to build a structure that holds heavy accessories like Maang Tikka and Matha Patti without slipping.
Clients often ask how I get those sharp, defined 3D lines in a bun. It comes down to using a strong-hold spray and the right backcombing technique. It is a bit tedious, but it makes a massive difference in photos. I do not do makeup alone. I collaborate with skilled artists for the base, like high-coverage, sweat-resistant HD foundation, while I focus entirely on the hair artistry.
