Vibrant Haldi and Varmala Photography
We capture the raw energy, color, and laughter of your most fun wedding rituals, from the playful haldi messes to the grand varmala exchanges.
The grand bridal entry. We capture the bride's walk towards the mandap under a beautiful 'phoolon ki chadar' held by her brothers.
A close up of the bride during her entrance. Her serene expression as she walks under the floral canopy is a moment of pure grace.
A candid and joyful varmala moment. We captured the bride playfully putting the garland on the groom amidst a shower of petals.
A creative shot of the bride in focus with the groom blurred in the background, building anticipation for the moment they meet at the mandap.
A beautiful portrait of the bride with the groom approaching in the background, capturing the 'first look' moment before the ceremony begins.
A magical moment captured with fireworks in the background. The groom's gentle kiss on the bride's forehead is a perfect post-varmala shot.
A moment of pure triumph and joy after the varmala ceremony, with the couple raising their hands in celebration amidst sparklers.
Laughter and love during the varmala. This candid shot captures the couple's happy interaction, a memory that truly reflects their personalities.
A sweet moment during a Maharashtrian wedding ritual. The bride's joyful smile as she participates in the ceremony is priceless.
The pure elation of being married. The groom's excited expression as he holds his bride's hand says it all.
About Vibrant Ceremonies: Haldi & Varmala
During the Haldi or Varmala, the energy gets wild, and that is exactly where we thrive. With my 5-person specialist team, we don't just wait for the big moments. We move constantly to capture the bride's unscripted laughter, the groom's candid expressions, and the chaotic joy of the ritual while you focus entirely on your guests. We work quickly, the way I like to call it, 'jhatpat fatafat,' so the flow of your ceremony stays natural and fun.
How We Cover Your Ceremonies
Your Haldi and Varmala are usually the most high-energy, colorful parts of the wedding. My goal is to capture the 'do gallan' moments—the quiet sweet talks—alongside the loud, messy fun.
The Crew Strategy We don't just show up with cameras. For these ceremonies, we deploy a 5-person specialist crew. Two candid photographers focus entirely on expressions and emotional details, one traditional photographer manages the stage and group shots so you don't miss any family photos, and two videographers track the cinematic highlights. This setup ensures that we capture the action from every angle without ever getting in your way.
Cinematic or Documentary? We offer both. If you want a 15-minute highlight film that feels like a movie, we shoot with gimbals and cinematic lighting. If you want a long-format, documentary-style record of the rituals, we have that covered too. We mix these styles so your final deliverables include:
- Teaser & Reels: Fast-paced edits perfect for sharing.
- Highlight Film: A 10-15 minute story-driven film.
- Full Documentation: A complete, unedited record of the rituals.
Handling the Chaos I always tell my couples, 'Dance karte raho, tension nahi lene ka.' We handle the pacing. If the Varmala needs to be slowed down for the perfect shot, we manage that gently with your friends and family. My team is based in Mumbai, but we travel across India for destination weddings. Whether you are getting married in a Jaipur palace or a private villa in Goa, we bring the same energy and professionalism to every shoot. You get the benefit of a large, consistent in-house crew rather than outsourced freelancers, which is why 2000+ couples have trusted us with their big day.
