Whether it is a crowd of five thousand at a Garba night or a close-knit group at a wedding Sangeet, my focus is on keeping the vibe natural. I interact, I pull people onto the dance floor, and I adapt my language—Hindi, English, or Gujarati—to make sure everyone in the crowd feels like they are part of the main act.
How I Handle the Stage
I believe anchoring is about connection, not just announcements. I don't just stand on stage and talk; I walk through the crowd, I dance, and I make sure that even the shyest guests at your event are smiling.
My Approach to Different Events:
- Weddings & Sangeets: I stop being an 'anchor' and start being a family member. I run interactive games, manage the Sangeet flow, and ensure the music and your guest list are always in sync.
- Garba & Cultural Festivals: This is my home turf. Whether it is a commercial Garba night for ten thousand people or a community gathering, I manage the stage and the crowd. I know how to lead the Maha Aarti with respect and then switch gears instantly to keep the beats pumping.
- Concerts & Public Shows: I bring the hype. I have worked alongside stars like Aditya Gadhvi, ensuring the transition between technical sets and live performances stays seamless, keeping the audience entertained even during equipment changes.
Dealing with the Unexpected
Events are unpredictable. I have hosted events where the power went out or the rain tried to ruin the party. My job is to ensure the show goes on. I rely on my experience to handle technical glitches, last-minute changes, or crowd fluctuations without the audience ever feeling a dip in the energy.
