Bringing the grace of Indian folk traditions to your stage. Whether it is a vibrant Ghoomar or a contemporary fusion, let us dance your way.
I never thought I would be able to dance with fire on my head, but what a sense of accomplishment. This is Chari, a folk style from Rajasthan that involves balancing a pot with fire.
Officially an Indian Folk Dance Diploma Graduate. After studying 13 different folk styles, I'm so proud of this journey and grateful to my teacher for bringing folk dance into my life.
Folk fusion is my soul style. Here's a Ghoomar choreography I created, set against a beautiful sunset. I love blending the grace of traditional Indian folk dance with a fresh, modern feel.
Back to my roots with this folk fusion piece. I choreographed this over a year ago and finally got to shoot it with my first ever dance partner. This style is where my heart truly lies.
A class full of love and folk dance. This 'Suniyan Suniyan' workshop was with my teacher who first inspired my love for Indian folk styles.
I don't think I can do Bhangra at all, but it's always fun trying something new. Here's my attempt at this high-energy Punjabi folk dance.
Channeling that main character energy with a retro Bollywood classic. This dance has strong semi-classical and folk influences, which I love to incorporate.
About Folk & Fusion Creations
Folk dance looks beautiful, but it is tricky to master, especially when managing heavy wedding lehengas or balancing props like a Chari pot. I don't just teach steps; I provide posture management and camera-readiness drills. This ensures you can actually move, spin, and smile without worrying about your outfit or stage fright.
I treat every dance as a conversation. My folk fusion work is rooted in my training—I am a Visharad graduate in folk dance, having studied 13 different styles—but I don't believe in keeping them stiff. Whether you are interested in the grace of Ghoomar, the balance of Chari, or want to mix those movements with modern beats, we can build it. My approach is simple: we start with the music you love and fit the choreography to your comfort, not the other way around.
For weddings, I know the drill. You have outfits that weigh a ton and family members who have never stepped on a stage. I design routines that prioritize repetitive, manageable hook steps over complex footwork, so the whole group stays in sync. If you are nervous about performing, that is exactly what I am here for. I share the same anxiety—I freeze up on camera too—and that is why my sessions include simple, effective techniques to manage stage fright. We can train in-person in Bangalore or Mumbai, or we can use Zoom if you are short on time. Let us create something real, messy, and fun.
