About Bespoke Commercial & Office Design
The integration of fluted and clear glass in private cabins allows for both acoustic privacy and visual openness, ensuring the office feels expansive even in compact footprints. I prioritize custom joinery, such as U-shaped desks with brass inlay and stone tops, to anchor the aesthetic and reinforce a sense of stability within the workspace.
My approach to commercial architecture centers on the idea that the physical environment is an active participant in your business narrative. Whether I am renovating a historic restaurant like Shiv Mishthan Bhandar in Old Delhi or developing a contemporary corporate office, the goal remains the same: a fusion of function and identity.
In corporate projects, I focus on zoning and spatial logic. The Jain Cosphere office, for example, illustrates this through a clear separation of reception, conference, and executive zones. I utilize materials with inherent depth—Michelangelo stone, dark-stained wood, and brushed brass—to communicate professionalism without resorting to sterile, off-the-shelf solutions.
The renovation of Shiv Mishthan Bhandar presented a different challenge: blending contemporary restaurant needs with the historic language of Chandni Chowk. By employing traditional lakhori bricks and lime plaster textures alongside modern glass and steel, I created a space that respects its heritage while meeting modern operational demands.
My process is rooted in technical precision. From the initial 2D layout planning and MEP drawings to the final site supervision, I ensure that every element, from false ceilings with shadow grooves to VRV system integration, is handled with meticulous attention. This technical rigor ensures that the finished space is not only visually compelling but also optimized for efficiency, whether you are running a high-traffic restaurant or a private executive suite.
