When I travel for international shows, my priority is making the distance feel invisible. Whether it is a large cultural festival or a private gathering, I work with local sound teams to ensure the Kannada lyrics and the energy of our folk traditions land exactly as they do back in Bengaluru. You will not just get a performance; you will get a piece of home.
Bridging Distances through Music
Performing internationally means more than just singing hits. It is about recreating the specific emotional connection Kannadigas have with their culture. My team and I understand that for many of you living abroad, a concert is not just entertainment; it is a way to feel connected to our roots.
How I Plan International Shows
- Technical Precision: I do not travel with my full band for every single gig, but I do travel with our sound philosophy. I coordinate with local AV teams well in advance, sharing our rider requirements so that the Kannada playback or live acoustic set sounds professional, regardless of the venue size.
- Cultural Curation: My setlists for international tours are curated to balance the new-age Kannada hits with the folk classics that remind us of home. From Vijayotsava in the USA to cultural meets in Jakarta, I tailor the vibe to the specific audience.
- Full Production vs. Intimate Sets: For festivals, we work on large-scale stage presence with synced visuals. For smaller community gatherings or Sangeets abroad, I offer acoustic sets that feel personal and unplugged.
