About The Arts: Creativity in Motion
Whether it is a 24-hour theatre festival or a student-led Bollywood dance session, our arts curriculum focuses on the process rather than just the final performance. We encourage students to take creative risks in a safe environment, where messy experimentation—like pottery sessions or unscripted theatre improvisation—is valued as a core part of the learning journey.
Our belief is that arts education is essential for every student, not just those seeking a stage. We have built an environment where a student who has never held a paintbrush can feel as comfortable in our pottery studio as an experienced actor does in our Black Box theatre. Our program spans from Pre-K to Grade 12, ensuring that whether a child is learning rhythm in an elementary choir or mastering lighting design for a high school production, they are building critical skills in communication, empathy, and creative problem-solving.
Facilities and Hands-on Learning
Our facilities include dedicated ceramics studios, music rehearsal rooms, and performance spaces designed for active learning. We bring in visiting professionals to run workshops, ensuring students gain real-world exposure to technique and industry standards. From the 'Arts in the Atrium' events that turn our shared spaces into galleries and dance floors, to the immersive theatre festivals where students write, cast, and produce shows in 24 hours, the focus is always on collaboration.
A Global Perspective
We see the arts as a vital channel for cross-cultural connection. Because our community brings together families from over 70 countries, our visual arts projects often draw inspiration from local Indian motifs—like our student-designed auto-rickshaws or textiles—blending global perspectives with our host culture in Delhi. We are not training students to be perfect; we are giving them the tools to explore, fail, try again, and discover their own voice.
