True well-being is not about changing your circumstances, but managing the inner space you inhabit. These perspectives explore the mechanics of your mind, body, and energy.

When you are successful by accident, you live in constant fear and anxiety. But when you are successful by intent, you know you can do it again. My teachings are about moving from accident to intent in every aspect of your life.

If you cannot even conduct your mind the way you want it, the question of life happening the way you want it is remote. You can only be successful by accident, not by intent. Learning to manage the mind is key.

If your mind is not doing what you say, and instead you do whatever your mind says, it means you are a terrible manager of your own self. The yogic path is about becoming an excellent manager of your inner faculties.

Your body, mind, emotion, and energy are the four dimensions of who you are. Once these are organized in one direction and kept unwavering, anything you wish for will happen without you even having to lift a finger.

When it comes to your inner nature, if your consciousness is focused, no power in existence can stop you. Even God cannot cause you misery if you are unwilling to cause it to yourself. This is the science of yoga.

Your entire system is determined by your prana, or life energy. If you take charge of your prana, you will remain psychologically balanced, whatever the external situation may be. Practices like pranayama are designed for this.

Every breath you take can be a step closer to your grave, or a step closer to your liberation. The question is, what are you doing with your mind? Are you making it a misery manufacturing machine, or a miracle?

To grow, you must set the right ambience within you. This means being in a state of joy and reverence. Reverence is a way of being constantly receptive to the intelligence of creation, rather than trying to impose your own limited mind.

There is a heavy concentration of nerve endings in your hands. By rubbing them together and placing them on your eyes in the morning, you awaken your entire system. You should not get up dumb; your body and brain should be active.

About Wisdom for a Conscious Life

When we talk about yoga here, we move past the physical postures. You will find that these insights address the 'inner mechanics'—how your mind creates friction and how you can actually take charge of your own state, whether you are at your desk or navigating a high-pressure meeting.
