Dog Training Philosophy and Methods
My training isn't about rigid commands; it's about building a language of trust, calmness, and mutual respect between you and your dog.
This is what trust looks like. Here, my dog Jax is working with me completely off-leash, responding to commands like 'heel' and 'down' before happily jumping a fence. My goal isn't just obedience; it's to build such a strong bond that your dog can enjoy more freedom safely.
Is your dog taking you for a walk? I can help you change that. This video shows what a calm, structured walk should look like, with the dog matching my pace and staying focused, even on a busy street. My online leash training sessions teach you how to achieve this harmony.
Crate training is about creating a safe space, not a punishment. Here, I am teaching a young puppy to be calm inside its crate by rewarding it only when it settles down. This simple positive reinforcement technique is fundamental to preventing separation anxiety and building good habits.
Hi everyone, I'm Abhishek. In this short video, I talk about my upcoming online workshop on crate training, where I debunk common myths and help you solve issues like separation anxiety and destructive behavior. My live sessions are a great way to get direct answers to your questions.
Do you ask for your dog's consent before petting them? I use a simple '5-Second Rule' to build trust and respect boundaries. This small step makes a huge difference in how a dog perceives interactions, making them feel safe and understood, which is the foundation of all my training.
These are my two teachers, Brownie and Jax. They are the reason I do what I do. From a rescued desi dog to a high-energy Belgian Malinois, they have taught me more about love, patience, and communication than any book ever could.

I use the 'YES' marker training method to instantly capture and reward the exact moment your dog chooses calm behavior. By giving clear, immediate feedback, you eliminate the confusion of traditional training and help your dog understand exactly what you want from them, whether you are teaching leash manners or basic obedience.
Building Trust, Not Just Obedience
Many pet parents come to me because they are exhausted by the chaos. Whether it is a dog that refuses to walk nicely on a leash or one that suffers from separation anxiety, the solution is rarely a stricter command. It is about changing how you communicate.
The 'Calm Over Chaos' Approach
I focus on reinforcing calm states. When your dog is hyper-excited, rewarding that energy just creates more chaos. I teach you how to wait, how to use the 'YES' marker to signal the right decision, and how to reward the quiet moments. This approach helps your dog learn self-control and reduces the anxiety that often leads to destructive behavior.
Respecting Boundaries: The 5-Second Rule
One of the most overlooked aspects of dog training is consent. If you want a dog that trusts you, you have to respect their space. I teach the 5-Second Rule: pet your dog for five seconds, then stop. If they move away, that is their choice, and you should respect it. If they lean in or nudge you, they are inviting more interaction. This simple shift builds immense trust, especially with rescued dogs or those adjusting to a new environment.
What to Expect
Training is a two-way street. In my workshops, I break down canine psychology so you aren't just memorizing techniques, but actually understanding why your dog behaves the way they do. We cover everything from the foundations of leash mastery to turning a crate into a safe sanctuary rather than a punishment box.
