Fighting for the Voiceless: Justice for Marginalized Communities
My foundation, Rann Samar, was created to stand with the most vulnerable. I provide pro-bono legal services to fight for the rights of Dalits, Adivasis, and urban poor who are often denied basic dignity and justice. This includes securing compensation for families of manual scavengers and fighting against the forced eviction of pavement dwellers.
Championing Women's Rights
I use the full force of the law to fight for gender justice, from tackling domestic violence and dowry deaths under Section 498A to pushing for safer workplaces through PILs. My work involves challenging patriarchal mindsets in society and advocating for legal reforms that grant daughters equal rights and protect women from all forms of abuse.
Demanding Systemic Reform: Legal & Police Accountability
True justice requires more than just winning individual cases; it demands systemic change. I actively use media platforms and legal arguments to critique flawed laws like the POCSO Act and the Juvenile Justice Act, expose police corruption, and advocate for a justice system that is fair, transparent, and accountable to the people.
Public Interest Litigations (PILs) for Civic Change
As a lawyer, I believe in using Public Interest Litigations (PILs) as a powerful tool to force government accountability and improve urban infrastructure. My PILs have addressed critical civic issues in Mumbai, from demanding robust fire safety regulations in high-rises to fighting for the preservation of the city's open green spaces.
Media Advocacy & Legal Commentary
I believe the media is a vital platform for legal education and advocacy. I regularly appear on national television and contribute to newspapers to demystify complex laws, offer critical analysis on court judgments, and hold public officials accountable on issues ranging from corporate fraud to government policy.
Civic Engagement & Voter Awareness
A strong democracy requires active participation from its citizens. Through my Rann Samar Foundation, I organize and lead voter awareness campaigns, especially targeting areas with low turnout like South Mumbai. We take to the streets with students and volunteers to urge every citizen to exercise their most fundamental right: the right to vote.

I am passionate about educating the next generation on their rights and the functioning of our justice system. I frequently deliver guest lectures at law schools and colleges like BITS Law School and Mount Carmel, and participate in panel discussions to mentor students and engage in critical policy debates.
