About Family & Friends Group Dances

The biggest challenge with group dances is coordination, especially when some members are in different cities or countries. I solve this by recording mirrored tutorial videos with 1-2-3-4 counts and text overlays, so everyone can practice on their own time. When we finally get on a Zoom call to clean the steps, we spend time fixing formations—because a group looks synchronized not just because of the steps, but because of where everyone stands.
