Hybrid Sangeet Choreography: Virtual to Venue Dance Planning
Don't let distance dampen your Sangeet. I bridge the gap between your scattered family and the stage with my proven hybrid process that works across any time zone.
Confused about how virtual choreography works? I break it down here. We handle everything from song selection to online Zoom sessions across different time zones, making it easy for your international guests to learn their steps.
This is a perfect example of our virtual to actual process. We provide clear, easy-to-follow video tutorials so your friends and family can practice from anywhere, and then bring it all together on stage.
Another look at our hybrid model. The top frame shows the final sangeet performance, and the bottom shows the virtual tutorial we provided. This is how we ensure everyone is confident and ready.
The proof is in the performance. This group learned their entire choreography through our virtual videos. With just a little trust and dedication, they delivered an incredible show.
It was amazing to see this group, who learned all their moves from our videos, perform with such confidence. We did a quick on-site revision, and they absolutely nailed their international sangeet performance.
Often, clients feel a dance is impossible to pull off. But I always say, 'Trust the process'. This video shows the journey from a doubtful rehearsal to a killer final performance.
The journey from practice to performance is always so rewarding. These behind the scenes clips show the fun and hard work that go into making every sangeet dance a success.
About this collection
The biggest challenge in destination weddings is that half your family is in one city and the rest are elsewhere. My hybrid process handles this by giving your group structured video tutorials with mirror angles—so your mom, your cousins, and the groom's squad can learn on their own time—followed by live Zoom sessions, and finally, my team on-site for the final polish before the Sangeet starts.
Distance is never an issue when you have a structured plan. When we start working together, we break the choreography down into manageable, bite-sized sections.
The Hybrid Roadmap
- Pre-Wedding Phase: We handle song selection and medley mixing first. I provide HD video tutorials, filmed with mirror angles so you don't have to reverse anything in your head. Whether you are in the US or Singapore, we set up live Zoom or Google Meet sessions to fix formations and clean up steps.
- On-Site Execution: This is where the magic happens. My team (usually 3 to 6 people, depending on your project) flies into your destination. We perform a venue recce for stage marking, run tech rehearsals for music cues, and handle the backstage flow so you aren't running around stressed.
- Performance Scope: We cover everything from grand couple entries to large family face-offs. If you want something specific—like props, voice-overs, or custom flashmobs—we fold that into the rehearsals.
Most clients worry that a dance will be impossible to pull off remotely. But I have seen aunties and groomsmen who thought they had two left feet deliver an incredible show because they felt confident in the steps before they ever touched the stage. You pick the difficulty level, and I make sure you get there.
Aastha Wedding Choreography
I’m Aastha. I started this in 2017 when I had no clue what was coming, just a gut feeling that Sangeet needed to be more than random steps. Now, with a team of 15, I obsess over the reveal, the music cues, and the emotional connection of your wedding dance.
