The best part of my job is seeing a happy bride like Daniya, enjoying her mehndi ceremony with her beautiful henna.

About this collection

The biggest secret to a dark stain isn't the henna itself, but what you do after I leave. Most people think washing off the paste with water is fine, but it is actually the fastest way to ruin your stain. Let me show you how to protect your design to get that deep, rich colour that lasts.

As a henna educator based in Bangalore, I am often asked why my designs look so dark and sharp. The answer lies in the process. I only use my signature a1_Henna cones, which are 100% natural, Halal, and wudu-friendly. I do not use chemical cones that promise instant results but compromise skin safety.

The Golden Rule: Avoid Water

My process includes applying a lemon-sugar sealant spray to ensure the design stays adhered for as long as possible. Once the session ends, the most important part of the journey begins with you. Do not wash the dried paste off with water. Water halts the oxidation process required to develop a deep mahogany colour. Instead, simply scrape the dried paste off. If it feels stubborn, apply a little natural oil to your hands to gently remove it. Keeping your hands dry for a few hours after removal will drastically change the final colour intensity.

My Studio Process

Whether you visit my studio in New Gurappana Palya or I come to you for a home service, the goal remains the same: a comfortable, relaxing experience. You will see me prepping the skin, discussing the design, and ensuring the sealant is perfectly applied. I love explaining the 'why' behind every step, whether we are working on intricate bridal detailing or simple party patterns. If you are curious about learning this art, I also conduct offline classes where I teach everything from shaky line correction to advanced floral patterns.
