Forget those tea bags filled with dust. My Assam green tea uses full, whole leaves that actually unfurl in hot water. Just a pinch in hot water for 45 seconds gives you a deep, clean flavour with a genuine hint of Idukki cardamom. It is super simple to make and tastes like a fresh brew, without any of the bitterness that comes with commercial tea bags.
Many people give up on green tea because they think it has to be bitter. That is usually just the result of mass-produced tea bags, which are often filled with tea dust. When you switch to whole, long-leaf tea, you get a completely different experience. My green tea is sourced straight from Assam gardens, keeping the leaves intact so they retain their natural antioxidants.
I blend this with real Idukki cardamom. You get that warm, spicy aroma immediately. It is not just about health; it is about enjoying that 'chai time' feeling even when you are busy.
How to brew it right
You do not need fancy equipment. Just take about 2 grams (a small pinch) of the tea. Pour hot water over it and cover the cup for about 30 to 45 seconds. That is it. You do not even need to spend time straining if you use a simple infuser cup.
