We started 15 years ago with a dream to make hair personal. From two kids in a small Bandra space to a loud, proud, chaotic 'fish market', this is our journey.
This picture takes us back. 15 years ago, we started Zido in a small Bandra spot with a big dream: to help people express themselves through their hair. We are still here, still passionate, and so grateful for every single person who has been part of our journey.
I recently sat down for 'The Conversation' to talk about my journey. We discussed everything from moving to Mumbai and finding my passion for hair, to the challenges faced by Northeast artists and what makes Zido's partnership work. This is the real, unfiltered story behind the salon.

About Our Story & Our Family

Whether it is our specialized Afro braiding, color work, or precision haircuts, everything we do is rooted in education and community. That is why we started Zido Academy, to pass on the craft to the next generation of stylists.
