My Approach to City Tours
Every city has a different heartbeat, and my goal is to match it. When I land in a new place, I am looking to build a soundscape that fits the local crowd, whether that is a packed club in Mumbai or an open-air festival in Pune. I don't believe in pre-recorded sets; I mix 100% live on 4-deck CDJs because I want to react to the energy on the floor in real-time.
The Sound of the Tour
My sets transition between melodic techno, tech house, and deep trance. What often surprises people—and what defines my signature sound—is when I drop heavy Sanskrit stotrams layered over a bass-heavy track. It is a fusion that tends to stop people in their tracks and pull them deeper into the groove.
Technical Requirements for Venues
To keep the energy high and the transition clean, I typically require the following for any club takeover:
- Console: Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2 or 3000 series paired with a DJM-900NXS2 mixer.
- Sound Reinforcement: A professional-grade PA system capable of handling extended sets without distortion.
- Consultation: I prefer to have a quick call with organizers to understand the venue layout, peak hours, and the specific vibe of your crowd, so I can plan my musical journey accordingly.
