About Additional Work
Before you try a new product, please take a moment for a patch test. Apply a small amount of the soap or cream to your inner forearm and leave it undisturbed for 24 to 48 hours. Even though my ingredients are natural—like raw kokum butter and essential oils—everyone's skin reacts differently to botanicals. This simple step ensures you can enjoy your self-care routine with complete peace of mind.
Understanding Natural Ingredients
I choose my ingredients for a reason. Whether it is the exfoliation power of fresh filter coffee in my scrub bars or the deep hydration of mango butter in my soufflés, nature provides everything we need. When you see ingredients like 'French Pink Clay' or 'Himalayan Pink Salt,' know that they are there to help your skin breathe, not just to add color.
The 'Slow' Approach to Skincare
My soaps are cured for 4 to 6 weeks. This patience isn't just about hard, long-lasting bars; it is about letting the chemical process finish naturally so the soap is gentle on your skin. If you are new to cold process soaps, you might notice they feel different from store-bought ones. They are richer, creamier, and require a bit more care—don't let them sit in a puddle of water, or they will soften too quickly.
Building Your 'Dynamic Duo'
I often get asked how to layer my products. I love pairing the Salt Spa Bar with a lightweight Body Soufflé. The salt exfoliates and removes dead skin, opening up your pores, while the anhydrous (water-free) soufflé locks in moisture immediately. Because my soufflés don't contain water, a little goes a very long way—start with a pea-sized amount and let your skin heat melt it into a nourishing layer.
Why Plastic-Free Matters
Everything here comes in glass, tin, or paper. I don't use plastic because I don't want my products to outlive the joy they bring you. When you finish a jar or a tin, I encourage you to wash it out and reuse it in your home. It is a small way we can work together to reduce waste, one bath at a time.
Whipsicles
I am the person behind Whipsicles, where I create skincare as a slow, deliberate practice rather than a production line. My studio is where I experiment with raw butters and oils, focusing on what is actually good for your skin, not what is trendy. I am here to help you move away from mass-produced chemicals and find a routine that actually feels like a ritual.
