Custom Hand-Painted Furniture and Surface Art

I don't just paint walls. I love the challenge of taking everyday objects—like vintage cars or furniture panels—and giving them a new life. It is about making your space feel completely yours, down to the smallest detail.

This video shows the incredible transformation of a vintage Ambassador car into a rolling piece of art. Using spray paints, acrylics, and even embroidery materials, we covered it in vibrant, intricate designs inspired by Indian truck art.

This video shows the process of painting a series of MDF panels with a "Fusion of a 100 Patterns." The artwork features deer and birds filled with intricate, varied patterns, creating a contemporary and highly detailed look.

Day 13 of painting these MDF panels for a home in Mumbai. This video shows the slow, meticulous process of filling in the patterns on the animal figures. The process was just as beautiful as the outcome.

Creating a dense, layered effect on the MDF panels by painting palm trees and a peacock. This time-lapse shows how I build up the details to give the artwork depth.

The second day of painting these L-shaped panels for a Mumbai home. The overlapping effect of the different patterns and figures is what makes this piece so unique.

A close-up of the painted Ambassador car's door, featuring the word "LOVE" amidst floral patterns. Every inch of the car was covered in unique designs.

The painted Ambassador parked on a city street, looking like a vibrant piece of pop art against the urban backdrop.

About this collection

For wood and panel projects, I start with a deep dive into the material’s grain and joinery. Before a single drop of paint touches the surface, I map out how the pattern will flow across the panels to ensure the design looks continuous even when doors or drawers are opened.

Art doesn't have to stay on a flat wall. Some of my most challenging and rewarding work happens when I move onto unconventional canvases. Whether it is a set of MDF wardrobe panels that need a cohesive design or a vintage Ambassador car waiting for a second life, I approach every surface with the same intensity.

The Process Behind the Surface

When I take on a special project, the prep work is as important as the painting.

  • Material Prep: If I am working on wood or metal, I ensure the surface is properly treated to hold the paint. This prevents long-term chipping and keeps the colors vibrant.
  • Pattern Flow: On furniture with moving parts like doors or drawers, I spend time during the design phase ensuring that the patterns align correctly across gaps. It is the small details that make the final piece feel like one unified artwork rather than a series of disconnected images.
  • Custom Finishes: Depending on the item's use, I select the right protection. A piece of furniture in a high-traffic area gets a different varnish treatment than a decorative panel in a bedroom, ensuring durability without losing the matte or glossy finish you prefer.

Why Custom Surface Art?

I believe that a house becomes a home when it reflects the people living in it. I have painted everything from intricate, flowing floral patterns on MDF panels to vibrant 'Lahore se Dilli' truck art on vintage vehicles. If you have an object that feels a bit bland or a piece of furniture you want to turn into a statement, let’s talk about how we can paint your story onto it.
