Nature's Stories: Educational Wildlife Reels from Delhi-NCR
I turn field observations into bite-sized stories, helping you understand the fascinating, raw behaviors of the birds and wildlife we share our spaces with.
My favorite Spotted Owlet, enjoying a lazy day. Watch as it scans its surroundings and slowly drifts off for a nap.
On World Sparrow Day, here is a look at four different sparrow species of India: the House Sparrow, Yellow-throated Sparrow, Russet Sparrow, and Sind Sparrow.
A Valentine's special, this reel features actual bird couples, from Sarus Cranes to Flamingos, showcasing the serene beauty of their pair bonds.
Have you seen Bar-headed Geese preening? This video explains why they do it: to maintain feathers, remove parasites, and strengthen social bonds.
A family of Lesser Whistling Ducks enjoying a winter afternoon, preening and taking flight from their log perch.
A compilation of some of my favorite wildlife moments, from a Little Grebe to a jackal, showcasing the amazing diversity of life.
A flock of Greater Flamingos in the wetlands of Delhi-NCR, their elegant forms reflected in the calm water.
A male Northern Shoveler preening in the water. This video explains how preening is crucial for feather maintenance, thermoregulation, and even stress relief.
A dramatic video of a Crested Serpent Eagle feasting on a Chequered Keelback snake, a raw look at a predator and its prey.
Meet the Common Moorhen. This reel explains its diet of vegetable matter and small aquatic creatures, and how it sometimes walks on lilypads to feed.
About Nature's Stories: Educational Reels
I film these reels with stabilized telephoto lenses to document specific behaviors, like the hunting prowess of a Crested Serpent Eagle or the preening habits of Bar-headed Geese, without disturbing the subjects. Every video is shot in the wild, often requiring hours of patience, and delivered as a complete 60-90 second package with educational overlays ready for use in your documentaries or social media campaigns.
Creating these reels is about interpreting the wild side of our cities. When I track a Common Moorhen or a Black-winged Stilt, I am not just looking for a frame. I am waiting for that specific moment—the 'why' behind the action.
My Filming Approach
Wildlife behavior does not follow a script. My process involves researching species patterns and habitat specifics before heading into the field. Whether I am at a wetland in Najafgarh Jheel or a forested patch in Haryana, I use professional-grade Nikon equipment with telephoto lenses to capture footage from a distance. This non-intrusive method allows me to gather authentic B-roll of the environment alongside the subject, providing context to the behavior.
What You Get
These educational reels are designed for organizations, researchers, or media creators who need verified wildlife content. Each 60-90 second project includes:
- Scientific Context: Facts about species behavior, diet, and habitat.
- Cinematic Quality: 4K filming with professional color grading.
- Educational Overlays: Text graphics that explain what is happening on screen.
If you need specific footage of local biodiversity—from migratory geese to the tiny, chirpy 'phoodki' (Plain Prinia)—I can provide high-definition clips or produce a custom narrative video for your project. My goal is to make the magic of the everyday wild accessible and understandable for everyone.
