About this collection

I focus heavily on volume preparation, using root crimping and backcombing to create a secure foundation that holds pins, flowers, and heavy temple jada throughout the day. This structural work ensures your hair stays in place without putting undue weight or strain on your neck.

It starts with the consultation and understanding your hair's natural texture. When you see a polished bun or a traditional braid, there is often a foundation of synthetic padding or hair extensions underneath. My process involves a few key steps to ensure quality:

Foundation and Structure

Whether we are aiming for a classic South Indian look or a contemporary reception style, the hair must be prepped to hold. I use specific techniques like root crimping for volume and texturizing sprays to give the hair enough grip so that U-pins and extensions do not slip. If you have fine or thin hair, we use padding to create the shape, ensuring the final style looks full without weighing you down.

Floral and Jewelry Placement

For brides opting for temple jada or jasmine (mallige) garlands, the placement is an art. I rig the flowers using specific threading techniques rather than just tucking them in, ensuring they do not wilt or drop during the ceremony. Heavy jewelry is balanced against the structure of the braid to distribute weight evenly, making it comfortable to wear for hours.

Draping Coordination

Because I handle both hair and saree draping, I ensure the hairstyle complements your silhouette. A high bun works differently with a Kanjeevaram pleat than a soft, open wave style does. I adjust your hair height and style to match the way your saree is draped, creating a cohesive look that feels intentional.

I am Meghana, and for me, hairstyling is about the quiet moments before the wedding chaos begins. I love the transformation when a client sits in the chair and walks out feeling completely like herself, just a bit more radiant. It is a joy to be part of that morning prep in namma Bengaluru and beyond.
