This is the first impression of my work. It showcases my core philosophy: creating architecture that is deeply connected to its context, integrates nature, and enhances the human experience. These projects are more than just buildings; they are living, breathing ecosystems designed for people.
Living Buildings: Green Facades & Biophilic Design
I move beyond the standard glass box by wrapping buildings in a living skin of green. This approach, known as biophilic design, uses plant-covered facades, hydroponic systems, and integrated greenery to moderate climate, reduce energy consumption, and create healthier, more inspiring workplaces.
The Breathing Core: Courtyards & Atriums
I use courtyards and atriums as the lungs of a building, drawing in natural light and fresh air while creating protected, social green spaces. These central voids organize the building's functions and provide a constant connection to nature, from large, multi-story atriums to intimate, quiet gardens.
Climate-Responsive Architecture
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Each project begins with a deep analysis of the local climate, leading to designs like deep verandahs for monsoons, or louvred screens for harsh sun, ensuring the building is not just in a place, but of it.
Spaces for People: Interiors for Collaboration & Well-being
My focus is on designing for the people who use the space every day. I create a variety of environments within a single building, from large, social cafeterias to quiet nooks for conversation and focused workstations that remain connected to the outdoors.
The Art of Making: Craftsmanship & Materiality
I believe in the power of materials and the beauty of well-executed details. My projects often involve collaborations with artists and artisans, blending traditional crafts with modern technology to create unique architectural elements, from custom metalwork to large-scale art installations.
Adaptive Reuse: Reimagining Industrial Spaces
I see immense potential in existing structures. This project in Pune involved the complete retrofitting of a dilapidated factory, transforming it into a sustainable and environmentally friendly office complex while honoring its industrial heritage.
