RF Mole & Skin Tag Removal
Procedure & Technology
- Technique: Radiofrequency (RF) Cautery / Electrosurgery. Uses high-frequency electrical currents to vaporize tissue without cutting the skin.
- Equipment: Specialized dermatological RF unit with fine-tip probes for precision work on delicate areas like the face.
- Duration: 20 to 30 minutes total (includes 20 mins numbing time + procedure).
Pre & Post Care
- Pain Management: Application of high-strength topical anesthetic cream 15 to 20 minutes prior. Lignocaine injection used for deeper moles if needed.
- Hygiene: Use of sterilized disposable tips, alcohol/betadine prep, and sterile gloves.
- Aftercare: Immediate application of antibiotic ointment. A small scab forms and falls off in 5 to 7 days.
Exclusions
- Biopsy: Not included if the mole requires histopathological testing.
- Surgery: Surgical excision (cutting and stitching) is a separate procedure.

- Technology: Active Q-Switched Laser for shattering deep dermal pigment.
Protocol & Comfort
- Prep: Heavy application of numbing cream under occlusion (plastic wrap) for maximum absorption.
- Thermal Safety: Continuous cold air cooling or ice compression to prevent blistering on larger areas.

Aftercare
