About Royal Rajasthani & Architectural Designs
My Rajbada designs are not just patterns, they are hand-drawn narratives. Every jharokha window, peacock, and dome is carefully placed to match the shape of your hand and forearm, ensuring the art flows naturally with your movement. I use 0.3mm tips for these designs, which allows for the high-precision lines needed to build these miniature palace scenes on your skin.
The Art of Rajbada
When I do Rajasthani or architectural mehandi, the goal is 'bharwa' or full coverage. Unlike modern minimal styles, this work is about density and detail. There is zero negative space. I start with the main architectural structure—usually a dome or a jharokha—and build the rest of the story around it, adding elephants, peacocks, or portrait figures that fit the theme of your wedding.
Why This Style Takes Time
Because this style requires high-precision line work, it is a slow process. A full-arm Rajbada design takes about 45 to 60 minutes per side. I spend time ensuring the henna paste is perfectly consistent so it flows without breaks, which is crucial for those fine, continuous lines. If you are planning this for your bridal look, factor this time into your wedding day schedule.
Natural Henna Guarantee
My work is only as good as the stain it leaves. I use homemade, 100% natural henna mixed with essential oils like eucalyptus or clove. I never use chemicals to 'force' a black color. The deep, rich stain comes from the quality of the henna and how long you keep it on. I recommend keeping the paste on for at least 6 to 8 hours to get that deep maroon result that looks perfect against traditional bridal wear.
