I believe corporate entertainment should be genuinely funny. My shows blend sharp mentalism with quick-witted banter to keep your guests laughing while they are being amazed.

I always like to start by getting a feel for the room. My self-deprecating joke about no one recognizing me is a great icebreaker that gets the first laugh of the night.

When you're not too famous, you have to find the humor in it. This is one of my favorite opening jokes that instantly connects me with the audience and sets a fun, relaxed tone for the show.

When JSW Steel asked if I could be funny, I told them the truth: I'm not funny, I'm just funny-looking. This kind of humor is a staple of my act and always gets a great response.

I like to poke fun at myself and my heritage. This joke about being mistaken for David Copperfield, or "Coppertone" since I'm from India, is a classic bit that brings some cultural humor to the stage.

I'm an Indian with a dot, not with a feather. This is one of my go-to lines when interacting with international audiences, a witty way to break the ice and share a piece of my identity.

Why not upgrade my name to Rocky? This is a little joke I make about the silent letters in names, showing the audience that I don't take myself too seriously.

I'm a vegetarian magician, I don't use any rabbits in the show. A simple, quirky one-liner that surprises the audience and gets a laugh, especially from the younger members of the crowd.

I only drink when I'm alone or with someone. A bit of classic, dry humor from a performance on a cruise ship, where the intimate setting allows for more conversational comedy.

This is not a money-back guarantee. When I borrow a ten-rupee note for a trick, I have to make it clear that its safe return is not guaranteed, which always gets a nervous laugh.

How would you like to pay? After a successful prediction, I jokingly ask the volunteer for payment, a fun way to wrap up the routine and share a laugh with the audience.

About Laughter is the Best Magic

When I step on stage, my first job isn't just to read minds, but to break the ice. I use a mix of quick-witted banter and self-deprecating humor to disarm the room, ensuring that even if you are a skeptic, you are at least having a good time. My goal is to make sure you are so busy chuckling at my 'funny looking' jokes that you do not notice the psychological setup until the grand reveal.

Most mentalists take themselves far too seriously. I prefer to treat my stage like a conversation, not a lecture. Whether I am performing for a high-stakes corporate gala in Bengaluru or a private event, I know that a stiff atmosphere is the enemy of engagement.

My approach is simple: I don't just perform tricks. I read the room. If I notice the energy dipping, I lean into the comedy. I use my own heritage, my 'funny looking' face, and spontaneous interactions with the audience to keep the momentum going. This is not about fooling you into submission, it is about creating a shared experience where you are as much a part of the act as I am.

For corporate clients, this style is particularly effective. A product launch or a long conference can get dry quickly. By weaving humor into the mind-reading segments, I ensure your audience stays awake, alert, and actually listening to the message. I have performed for teams at companies like JSW Steel, and I have learned that laughter is the fastest way to get people to drop their guard. Once they are laughing, they are open to the impossible. We can do ATM PIN reveals, mass synchronization, or celebrity influence games, and through it all, we will be laughing.

I am Rakesh, or 'Rocky' if you want to sound cool. I don't just do tricks; I blend psychology and sharp wit to make sure your team is talking about the show long after it ends. Think of me as the guy who makes the impossible feel like a fun, spontaneous conversation.
