About this collection
People often focus heavily on their hands, but the feet deserve just as much attention. When I design for both, I ensure the motif on your palms—whether it is a peacock or a floral jharokha—carries over as a border or pattern on your feet, giving you that seamless, balanced look in your wedding photos.
When you book me for a full bridal set, the goal is balance. If your hand mehandi is heavy with intricate bharwa work, your feet need to complement that density without feeling cluttered. I often see brides get beautiful, heavy work on their hands but leave their feet with minimal patterns. That is a missed opportunity.
My approach links the two. If we use a specific peacock motif on your mid-arm, I will often carry a smaller, simplified version of that same motif onto your feet near the ankle. This creates a visual connection that ties the entire look together.
I use only 100% natural henna, which is critical for feet. The skin on the feet is thicker than the palms, so it requires a specific technique to get that deep, maroon stain you see in my pictures. I always say, 'hara lagate hain, laal nikalta hai,' but on the feet, that stain needs extra care. After application, I recommend keeping them warm and avoiding water for the first 24 hours to really let the colour pop.
Whether you want traditional Marwari patterns, temple architecture motifs, or just a clean jaali (net) work, I adapt the design to fit your bridal wear. The goal is simple: when you walk, and when you place your hands in your lap, the mehandi should look like one continuous piece of art.
If you have a specific wedding theme, tell me during our first chat. I can incorporate your initials or wedding date into the foot design as well, hidden subtly within the patterns. Let us plan a look that ensures your feet are as wedding-ready as your hands.
