About Design Details & Fabrics
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all, which is why my dresses feature custom-built corset structures and integrated padding. Whether it is a thigh-high slit on a banana crepe gown or the specific drape of a satin midi, every piece is constructed based on your actual bust, waist, and hip measurements to ensure it sits exactly where it should without slipping.
Creating a garment that makes you feel like the main character requires attention to what is happening underneath the surface. I focus heavily on the structural foundation of every piece because a gown only looks good if it fits your body perfectly.
My Fabric Choices
- Satin: I use high-sheen synthetic satin for its liquid-like drape. It is perfect for cowl necklines and wrap-front styles because it contours to your body's curves.
- Banana Crepe: This is my go-to for structured silhouettes. It holds shape well, making it ideal for bodycon dresses or gowns that need architectural integrity.
- Organza & Net: Used primarily for layering or sleeves. These fabrics add volume and dimension without the weight, giving that romantic, ethereal look.
Construction & Fit
When you order a custom piece, we are not just adjusting lengths. I incorporate functional design elements like internal bodice boning for corset-style dresses, which provides lift and support without needing a separate bra. For backless designs, I use reinforced lace-up detailing to ensure the dress stays secure. Every piece is finished with concealed color-matched zippers and full shantoon lining, so you get the premium feel inside and out. If you are looking for a specific look—whether it is a modern fusion lehenga with can-can for volume or a minimalist midi dress—let us discuss the silhouette that works for your body type.
Pershoppe
I started Pershoppe because I wanted women to have that 'main character' energy every single day. I design every piece myself, focusing on the cuts and fabrics that actually flatter real bodies, not just magazine models.
