My Approach to Music Production
Music feels like a spiritual journey for me. I'm always chasing that feeling when a beat drops and everyone in the room gets it - that's real magic. I grew up loving Carnatic music and got hooked on Amapiano, so I started blending the two. Why not let a tabla ride with a log drum, ya? That's the vibe I want to create.
What Happens in My Studio
My spot - MRSAJSTUDIOS - is where I cook up everything from simple grooves to full EPs. Sometimes I play percussion myself, sometimes I bring in other musicians. Here's what I usually get into:
- Original tracks and EPs, like my "SA 2 SA Vol. 1" project. It's all about that Amapiano fusion with Carnatic roots.
- Custom DJ remixes and edits. Got a track you want remixed? I love flipping Bollywood or Bhangra into AfroDesi or Bollypiano styles.
- Not everything works perfectly, but the best ideas come from trying wild combos.

My Story
Yo, I'm Mr Saj. Started strumming guitar on TV when I was just a kid - wild, right? Now, music’s my whole world. Found Amapiano back in 2019, got hooked, mixed it with Carnatic roots. That’s how 'SA 2 SA Vol. 1' happened - all me, all live, all heart. For me, it’s about crossing borders, making everyone feel that vibe. Gamak to Uhambo, that's the journey.
