About How Our System Works

Our system connects your existing motors and valves to a central Dcon Ag controller. This unit links wirelessly to field valves via LoRa, removing the need for trenching, and lets you manage everything through our app, which provides live status, motor safety alerts, and electricity usage logs.

The setup is designed to remove the daily headache of manual monitoring. We use industrial-grade GSM or LoRa controllers that interface directly with your existing starters. For your field valves, we install solar-powered V-Con nodes, which means you don't need to dig up your land or lay miles of cabling to manage different zones.

The Control Interface

The Dcon Ag app serves as your digital dashboard. When you open it, you see a map view of your farm. You can trigger individual valves, start your motor, or set cyclic timers for specific crops. Because the system monitors feedback from the valves, you know exactly when a line is open or closed, preventing over-watering and dry patches.

Why This Setup Matters

  • Safety First: The system includes dry-run protection and overload sensors. If your motor runs without water or hits a power issue, the system alerts your phone immediately.
  • No More Night Shifts: You can schedule your irrigation cycles from your bed. If you have different schedules for coconuts, sugarcane, or mangoes, the app handles the timing without you visiting the field.
  • Scalability: Whether you manage a 2-acre plot or a 120-acre estate, the logic remains the same. The controller manages the motor, and the wireless nodes handle the distribution across your field sections.
  • Data-Driven: You get a 3-month history log of when your motor ran and for how long. This helps you track water consumption and electricity costs accurately, which is crucial for maximizing your return on investment.
