About this collection
Most wedding guests focus on picking the loudest outfit, but the real secret to a standout look is the fit and the drape. Whether you are wearing a classic saree or a fusion lehenga, I focus on proportions that flatter your specific body shape and color choices that actually brighten your complexion, rather than just following the season's color. My goal is to ensure you look polished and feel comfortable enough to actually enjoy the celebration, not just stand in it.
The festive season is a marathon, not a sprint. When I style a client for a wedding, my process moves beyond just picking a nice dress. We start with event profiling. What is the venue? Who is the crowd? What is your role? A cocktail night at a city hotel demands a different silhouette than a traditional daytime ceremony in a temple or a garden.
My approach to festive styling rests on three pillars:
1. The Power of Restyling
You do not need to buy a new outfit for every function. I often work with clients to reimagine family heirlooms or restyle pieces you already own. We can take a 20-year-old saree and pair it with a modern crop top or restructure the drape to create a fresh, fusion look. It is the most sustainable way to be the best-dressed guest.
2. Scientific Color and Fit
We often fall into the trap of wearing colors just because they are trending. I use professional drapes to identify your personal color palette. When you wear a color that aligns with your skin undertone, your face gets that instant glow, or what I like to call 'kitna instant' magic. We also look at body proportions. If you are petite, we focus on hemlines that elongate your frame. If you are taller, we play with different draping styles to create depth.
3. The Art of Accessories
An outfit is incomplete without the right finishing touches. I teach you how to balance your jewelry, whether it is statement polki for a regal look or minimalist pearls for quiet luxury. My styling execution includes specific instructions for your makeup artist and hairdresser, ensuring your beauty look complements your outfit perfectly. Whether you are based in Delhi NCR or attending a destination wedding, we will ensure you leave a graceful impression that is entirely your own.
