About Campaigns & Editorial Work
When working on editorial shoots, the lighting dictates everything. I do not just apply foundation; I craft a base that remains dimensional under harsh studio strobes and heavy flash. Whether we are going for sharp, high-fashion edges or a soft, cinematic glow, my focus stays on how the pigments interact with the lens.
Unlike bridal makeup where longevity for a full day is the priority, editorial makeup is often about visual impact and specific storytelling. I collaborate closely with photographers and stylists to match the makeup to the overall mood of the frame.
The Technical Side
For these campaigns, I rely on a mix of high-coverage, reliable products from brands like NARS and Charlotte Tilbury. The goal is to ensure skin does not look flat or unnatural in high-definition images. We play with textures—glossy lids, matte skin, or graphic liner—that catch the light perfectly.
