When I work on these editorial or thematic looks, the focus shifts to texture and high-fashion finishes. Unlike traditional bridal makeup, these styles often demand sharper lines and bold highlight placements that really pop under studio lights, ensuring you stand out at any event.
This gallery is a playground for me. While my bridal work centers on tradition and longevity, these additional looks allow me to experiment with trends that might be too bold for a classic wedding ceremony. You will notice a lot of focus on 'glass skin' finishes, sharp, graphic eyeliner, and metallic color palettes.
My approach for these sessions is collaborative. If you come to me with a moodboard for a cocktail party or a thematic shoot, we will break down the elements that define the vibe. For example, if you want that metallic gold goddess aesthetic, I focus on body highlighting and strategic layering of textures to ensure the finish looks expensive, not overdone.
I also love working with clients who want to try retro-inspired looks or avant-garde styles. These sessions give us the freedom to use techniques like glossy eye-lids, individual lash stacking, and intense contouring that catch the light beautifully.
