Every Indian wedding has its own unique heartbeat. From the delicate kolka of a Bengali bride to the fresh jasmine in a South Indian braid, I love helping you honor your heritage with authentic, skin-focused makeup.

The timeless elegance of a Bengali bride. For Piyashi, who was nervous about makeup, I created a second-skin look with simple kolka designs and soft gold hues on the eyelids to complement her red Banarasi saree and traditional mukut.

A classic South Indian bridal look for Reshma, drenched in gold. The makeup was kept minimal to let her stunning temple jewelry and Kanjeevaram saree shine, staying true to her personal style for her intimate temple wedding.

Reeya walked down the aisle for her beautiful sunset Varmala in this gorgeous orange lehenga. We paired it with a fresh matte face, copper-hued eyes, and blooms in her bun that matched her outfit, creating a stunning Marwadi bridal look.

The beautiful Malayali bride, Jisha. Her look was all about celebrating tradition with gold hues on the eyes, fresh mogra in her hair, and a radiant, skin-like finish that glowed with happiness.

Breaking stereotypes with a clean and simple look for Vidhi's beautiful Gujarati Panetar saree. The makeup was designed to be elegant and understated, letting the beauty of the traditional attire speak for itself.

Prajakta, a wedding photographer herself, wanted a classic South Indian theme for her Simant Pujan. We delivered a soft, muted look with a traditional braid adorned with mallige and lotuses, perfectly matching her vision.

A close-up of Lithika's South Indian bridal makeup. The look features a flawless base, defined eyes with a subtle wing, and a beautiful bindi, all complementing her heritage and finesse.

Lithika's radiant smile captures the joy of her wedding day. Her makeup is soft and luminous, enhancing her natural beauty without overpowering her features.

A candid shot of Lithika during her wedding ceremony. The makeup looks fresh and stays put, ensuring she looks her best throughout the day's events.

A beautiful portrait of my South Indian bride. The focus is on clean, glowing skin and eyes that sparkle, a perfect example of minimal yet impactful bridal makeup.

About Celebrating Diverse Traditions

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to bridal beauty. Whether it is the specific placement of a bindi to match your face shape or sourcing fresh, high-quality mallige for your braid, I handle the small cultural details that make your look feel authentic. I research the nuances required for your specific saree drape or jewelry style so you feel completely like yourself, just elevated.

Indian weddings are a beautiful mix of styles, and I love that no two brides are ever the same. Whether you are walking down the aisle in a classic red Banarasi saree or a modern Panetar, the goal is to make sure your makeup complements the garment, not competes with it.

My approach starts with understanding your specific tradition. If you are a Bengali bride, I take the time to map out your kolka designs so they sit perfectly on your forehead. For my South Indian brides, I focus on balancing the richness of gold temple jewelry with fresh, dewy skin. I understand that heavy fabrics like Paithani or Kanjeevaram sarees require specific draping techniques to stay secure all day, and I am there to make sure that happens.

I have worked with Marwadi, Malayali, Gujarati, and Catholic brides, and I really enjoy the process of learning what each culture values in a bridal look. It is not just about the eyeliner or the base; it is about respecting the tradition behind the look.

I use water-resistant, long-wear products because I know you will be busy with rituals, family, and emotions throughout the day. You should never have to worry about your makeup oxidizing or fading halfway through the ceremony. Let us have a conversation about your family traditions and how we can incorporate them into your final bridal look.
