Sometimes I love experimenting beyond the bridal chair. From festive Ugadi glows to creative projects, here is a look at the artistic side of my studio.

Wishing everyone a happy and prosperous Ugadi. Here is a festive look I created to celebrate the new year.

Celebrating Ugadi with a traditional look. The orange and turquoise half-saree is paired with glowing makeup and gold jewelry.

Holding the traditional 'bevu-bella', symbolizing the sweet and bitter moments of life. Happy Ugadi to all.

The joy of the festival is reflected in this bright and happy look. Wishing everyone peace and joy.

About this collection

You might notice in these photos that festive makeup is quite different from bridal work. For festivals, I focus on a look that is vibrant and photogenic under daylight or evening lights, but still comfortable enough to wear while performing poojas or moving around. I always prioritize a base that stays fresh even after hours of family gatherings.

Whether it is Ugadi, Deepavali, or a family function, dressing up is part of the fun. In my studio, I treat every festive look with the same attention to detail as a wedding. We focus on balancing traditional aesthetics, like the rich colours of a Kanjeevaram, with makeup that highlights your features without feeling heavy. I often use warm tones to complement traditional gold jewellery, and my priority is always a sweat-resistant finish. That way, you can focus on the celebrations rather than touching up your lipstick. Beyond the makeup, I also enjoy experimenting with hair accessories and traditional styling, which you can see in my festive portfolio. If you have a specific festival or cultural event coming up, let me know. We can plan a look that matches your outfit and the specific vibe of your event.
