About Hydroponic & Water-Based Plants
When you get these from me, you don't just get a plant in a glass; you get a setup that’s ready to thrive. I personally clean and acclimatize the roots so they are healthy enough to survive in water without rotting. You won’t need to mess around with soil or fertilizers right away—just place it on your desk, change the water occasionally, and it stays vibrant.
Why Switch to Hydroponic Plants?
If you struggle with soil maintenance or keeping pests away from your indoor plants, water culture is the cleanest solution. My hydroponic arrangements are specifically designed for low-light indoor environments like office desks, living rooms, and kitchen counters.
My Process
I don’t just put a cutting in water and call it hydroponic. I select healthy, water-acclimatized varieties like Aglaonema (Pink or Lipstick), Syngonium, and Peace Lily. These are chosen for their ability to thrive in water setups. I clean the root systems thoroughly, removing all soil debris to prevent water contamination and bacterial growth. When you receive your plant, the root system is already established and functioning, which is why these plants stay green and fresh for so long.
Maintenance Tips
Hydroponic plants are incredibly simple to manage:
- Water Change: Change the water once every 7-10 days to keep it oxygenated.
- Light: Keep them in indirect sunlight. Avoid direct, harsh afternoon sun which can heat up the glass and damage roots.
- Cleaning: If you notice algae buildup on the glass, rinse the roots gently and wipe the vase with a soft cloth.
Whether you need a single piece for your home or a bulk order for office desks, I handle it all. Every vase—from simple bowls to tall spiral designs—is selected to enhance the look of the plant and bring a bit of nature into your workspace.
