Acne is often a signal from within, not just a surface issue. At Klarity, we move beyond quick fixes to identify the root cause—be it hormonal, lifestyle, or dietary—and build a treatment plan that actually clears your skin.

Welcome to the "Acne Fight Club." My approach to acne is proactive and strategic. I don't believe in quick fixes but in building a comprehensive plan to tackle breakouts at their source and restore your skin's health.

Chemical peels are a cornerstone of effective acne treatment. A professionally applied peel, like a salicylic acid peel, exfoliates the skin, unclogs pores, and reduces the inflammation associated with active pimples, effectively hitting "refresh" on your skin.

Salicylic acid, a Beta Hydroxy Acid, is an excellent ingredient for treating acne. It is oil-soluble, allowing it to penetrate deep into the pores to dissolve the debris and sebum that cause blackheads and pimples. I often use it in my clinical peels for oily and acne-prone skin.

A pimple before a big event can be stressful. The Q-Switch laser is my secret weapon for "rescue care." This video shows how a quick, targeted laser session can rapidly reduce the inflammation of a pimple, helping you show up to your event with confidence.

Acne in young girls and teenagers is a concern I address frequently. In this video, I discuss the common link to hormonal conditions like PCOS, and how lifestyle factors like diet and stress play a role. Early and proper treatment is key to managing acne and preventing scars.

Does wearing makeup cause breakouts? Not necessarily. In this video, I explain that the real culprits are often uncleaned brushes and not removing makeup properly. I share my tips on how to wear makeup without compromising your skin's health.

If you are a fitness enthusiast on whey protein and struggling with acne or hair loss, this is for you. I explain how whey protein can sometimes trigger breakouts due to its hormonal effects and suggest considering plant-based alternatives if this is a concern.

About Acne & Breakout Control

If you are currently using acne-fighting topicals but still seeing breakouts, the issue might be internal or related to your specific skin barrier health. During your first session, we do not just apply a peel; we perform a full 7-step assessment—checking your diet, lifestyle, and medical history—to ensure the treatment we choose actually targets the source of your congestion rather than just drying out the surface.
