Modern Homes: Bold Architectural Forms

I build homes that function as statements. Expect bold geometry, earthy materials, and nature woven into the very structure of your home.

Here, the interplay of form and texture is everything. The strong arch creates a dramatic opening, while the contrast between the dark, textured facade and the smooth, earthy tones adds depth and character.

A closer look at how materials and nature work together. The rough texture of the dark facade is a bold choice, balanced by the organic feel of the overhanging rooftop garden and the warmth of the wood-paneled fence.

This top-down view shows how the building's footprint integrates green spaces. The linear wooden slats of the pergola contrast with the soft, lush lawn on the rooftop, creating a geometric yet organic design.

A modern, two-story home designed with a bold, dark facade. The large glass windows and open balconies prevent the structure from feeling heavy, while the surrounding tropical plants ground it in its environment.

The curve of the arch against the sharp lines of the structure creates a dynamic visual tension. This detail shot highlights the use of contrasting materials to build a facade that is both modern and timeless.

An aerial perspective of a multi-level modern residence. You can see how the private terraces and rooftop garden with a pool are designed as distinct zones, offering different experiences on each floor.

This view highlights the home's layered design. The recessed balconies provide privacy and shade, while the rooftop pergola adds a light, structural element to the solid form of the building.

A full frontal view showcasing the building's strong, cubic form and asymmetrical window placement. The design plays with solid and void, creating a facade that is interesting from every angle.

From this angle, you can appreciate the depth of the architecture. The way the different volumes of the house are stacked creates a sense of dynamism, while the consistent earthy palette unifies the design.

This perspective shows how the home interacts with its site. The lower level is anchored with large glass panels, creating a connection to the garden, while the upper levels feel more private and contained.

About Modern Homes: Bold Forms & Natural Textures

Don't expect a cookie-cutter layout. My process starts by analyzing how light and airflow move through your site before we even touch the structural design. I use heavy materials like travertine and lime plaster, but I balance them with deep terraces and vertical gardens so your home feels breathable. If you want a space that actually has character, let’s look at your plot.

People often ask why I’m obsessed with bold facades and asymmetric volumes. It’s because a home shouldn't fade into the background. Whether we are planning a ground-up villa or a structural renovation, the goal is to create a building that feels like it has a pulse.

Materiality that ages well

I don’t mess around with fake finishes. We use real stuff: travertine, micro-toppings, and exposed textures. These materials don't try to hide what they are. They gain character over time, and they don't look dated in five years.

Nature is not an afterthought

This is where the magic happens. I design for rooftop gardens, cascading greens, and integrated planters from day one. It’s about tropical modernism: making sure your living room feels connected to your terrace garden. We use vertical gardens and deep shading to keep the inside cool, no matter the city heat.

The process

When we start, we aren't just sketching rooms. We’re doing high-fidelity 3D renders that simulate day and night lighting scenarios. We plan for the air-conditioning and automation—like Lutron or Trescent—before the first brick is laid. You’re getting a structural layout that works, not just a pretty picture. If you’re ready to move past the 'safe' designs and want something that hits hard, bring me your plot and your wildest ideas.
