A good education system cannot stand on the exploitation of its teachers. If your school management is denying your rights, I am here to help you fight back.

Private schools across the country are known for exploiting their teachers. As President of AIPA, I have taken the initiative to draft a bill to ensure job security and fair pay for them, equivalent to their government school counterparts.

A positive outcome reported in the Hindustan newspaper. Following a petition I filed, 670 candidates from a 2019 waiting list will finally get their appointments as teachers in government and municipal schools.

This Hindustan news clipping reports on a case I am fighting for eight teachers of a private school who were not paid their salaries since the lockdown. The High Court has taken the matter seriously and issued a notice.

About Championing Teachers' Rights

Private school managements often gamble on the fact that teachers will stay silent out of fear. But when you are faced with arbitrary termination or salary withholding, silence only emboldens them. You have clear legal protections regarding job security and fair pay that schools cannot simply override. Before you accept an unfair exit, you must build a formal record of your grievance. A legal notice is often the only language these institutions understand, and it serves as the essential foundation for any court petition.

For 40 years, I have seen schools treat teachers as disposable, ignoring their contributions and their basic rights. This is not just a personal matter, it is a structural failure. Without proper regulation, many private schools act with impunity, firing staff without notice or withholding salaries for months, especially after the lockdown period.

My approach is to strip away the excuses managements give. Whether it is a contractual dispute, ad-hoc termination, or denial of equal pay, the law offers avenues for protection. As President of the All India Parents Association, I have pushed for the 'Un-aided Private School Security of Service Bill 2021' because I know that fighting individual cases is only half the battle; we need systematic change.

If you have been wronged, the first step is to stop relying on verbal promises. We need to issue a formal legal notice that creates a paper trail and signals your intent to approach the High Court if necessary. This often forces the school to reconsider its position. You have earned your salary and your job security, and I am here to ensure you get your haq.
